Note: More of a junior/mid-level position. Should have mainly manual (but also some automation) experience as well as experience in network/cloud.
NOTES FROM HIRING MANAGER:
(Regarding Network/Cloud experience): What I will be looking at related to cloud/networking background is if the candidate general experience testing products running on the cloud as we run most of our virtual machines in the cloud, and are developing solutions hosted in AWS, and even our own cloud environment. As mentioned, this is not mandatory or disqualifying, but will be considered in the context of the full candidate profile
These positions are going to need to be closer to Jr. Test Engineers as I am looking for people to write, execute, and review manual and automated tests.
Required:
Responsible for testing (verification and validation) of informatics products in compliance with internal policies and procedures, both US and Foreign regulatory standards and requirements
Must have prior experience operating in Scrum-based development teams
Will work with a broad range of technologists and support personnel within the company
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test plans for desktop, web and mobile medical and non-medical informatics products
Develop software test cases (black and white box)
Analyze product risks and develop suitable mitigation plans (software, usability, labeling, training, other) in conjunction with the Informatics developers
Helping in testing documentation review, develop testing standards, define criteria for testing, analyze test results, and present results to developers and other stakeholders
Provide testing and allied documentation in conformance with regulatory, security, and privacy standards for all types of testing such as functional, performance, regression, etc.
Provide input to systems and applications developers on testing procedures and requirements, schedules, or potential problems according to regulations and standards
Contribute to a sustainable Continuous Integration Infrastructure with centralized software builds and automated testing environment.
