JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking Network Administrator. The administrative duties will consist of Juniper and F5 management, ensure the operations of Juniper Switch, F5 and works on installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, optimizing and documentation. Work with internal customers to understand functional requirements and make systems changes as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
2+ year’s experience in Juniper Network and F5 Production Environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
Install and maintain network hardware and software.
Analyze and isolate issues.
Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
Evaluate and modify system''s performance.
Identify user needs.
Determine network and system requirements.
Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
Ensure network connectivity throughout a company''s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
Perform network address assignment.
Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
Administer servers, routers, switches, firewalls, security updates and patches.
Ability to take daily tasks and automate, including server builds, patching, and configuration analysis
Participate in 7x24 on-call support rotation
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Network Administration Certification preferred.
Strong problem solving, ability to work independently yet be able to work with various teams across the company and enjoy teamwork
Experience working with cross-functional teams including development, quality assurance, product management, project management, business analysts, and support.
Ability to learn and implement new technologies and processes
Able to develop and contribute in a fun, fast-paced team environment without losing focus on prioritized tasks
Energetic and passionate self-starter that brings interpersonal skills and creative problem solving skills to the team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Scripting knowledge in PowerShell preferable, or other scripting language.
