Job Title: Salesforce DevOps Engineer
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Duration: Long Term
looking for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for implementing the DevOps strategy for one of the largest implementation of Salesforce in the industry. This process includes continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, release management and support the end to end release process. As a member of the team, you work alongside Software Engineers to ensure all updates to the Salesforce platform seamlessly move from development through staging and into production for all Salesforce based applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for driving operational excellence by implementing strategies for continuous delivery of Salesforce and any dependent software on the cloud.
Develop tools for continuous integration, automated testing and release management including adoption of frameworks like Jenkins, Maven, Selenium, Travis, etc.
Enable a proactive monitoring with tools like NewRelic, StatusPage, and Pager Dutty
Manage the CI/CD process in a complex environment including Salesforce, Apttus, API connect, and other platforms
Build scripts to automate packaging and deployments
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
+ BS in Computer Science or other equivalent
+ 2+ years of experience in configuration management
+ At least 2 years of experience in DevOps including brand management, automation tools, scripting, and cloud technologies
+ At least 2 years experience with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
+ Experience with Salesforce platform either as an Admin or Developer
+ Prior experience working with container technology such as Docker and/or Vagrant, version control systems (Subversion, SVN, git, github, etc), monitoring tools (NewRelic, Nagios, etc), REST APIs, JSON, and SOAP XML
+ Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201) preferred
