Job Description :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Create interactive 3D applications with an emphasis on schedule, quality and creativity that will meet or exceed customer expectations.
2. Import and convert CAD models into optimized and efficiently running low-poly models for fast interactive user movements and playback on low-end workstations.
3. Use knowledge of hardware specifications to quantitatively determine application specifications to achieve the acceptable application performance as measured by the user experience.
4. Apply knowledge and understanding of various types of models and properly select the appropriate type to use based on each particular project scenario.
5. Apply and create scripting to automate model conversion and other elements of the 3D applications.
6. Optimize and maintain 3D models that are used for computer graphics visualization and support model modifications as required.
7. Collaborate with our artists to develop user interfaces that are intuitive to the end user.
8. Support low poly model builds as required.
9. Support and maintain libraries containing models, materials, studios, etc.
10. Perform job duties in an ethical, professional manner which is consistent with the Oshkosh Way. Conduct duties consistent with the Company’s mission statement, quality objectives, and defined policies and procedures.
11. Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers.
12. Support and grow our team’s portfolio content that showcases and promotes our capability.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with an accredited program in Computer Science, Animation, Game Design, or Visual Effects
Internship or 6+ months of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree
Experience with interactive software (Unity, Unreal, or equivalent)
Experience with scripting languages (C#, UnityScript, JavaScript, .NET, Python, Maxscript)
Knowledge of either Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema The Client, or ZBrush
Knowledge of CAD systems
Unity Certified Developer
Knowledge of Computer Graphics
Knowledge of mapping and texture maps
Experience with 3D modeling (Autodesk 3dsMax, Vray, Rhinoceros, Unity, Topogun)
Experience with CAD file management systems (Teamcenter, Smarteam, or equivalent)
Experience with automated CAD file conversions
Length 6 months but good chance it will be extended
