Job Title: Business Analyst/Jr.Project Manager
Location: New York City,NY
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
Business Analyst to work on multiple research / evaluation projects and will be part of Emerging Technologies Group.
Work with vendors, startup companies and various stake holders in the company and should be able to start with very little or ambiguous requirements.
Should be able to create a project charter outlining the objectives of each project, execution details and catalog the results.
Able to schedule and run the meetings on a timely manner, document the progress and follow up on open items with various stake holders.
Should drive the projects to a logical completion of intended objectives .
Should be a good listener and ask probing questions and write down the requirements.
Should be able to follow the directions of the PMO and execute their vison for each project.
Should have experience of working with the Microsoft Tools like Word and PowerPoint.
Experience working as Research Associate with a University is a plus.
Any experience with real estate industry or technology industry is preferable.
Should be able to clearly document business and functional requirements. Escalate risks, issues and road blocks to the team. Support the project manager with status reports.
Qualifications :
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technology is preferable.
Five Plus years of experience working as a business analyst. Some experience with project management is desirable.
Critical thinker/problem solver with logical thought process.
Strong communication skills, including presentation development and delivery.
Strong cross-team collaboration skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Stakeholder communication and expectation management.
The successful candidate must have strong business acumen and intellectual curiosity.
A passion for truly understanding the business and keeping it simple will be required to effectively integrate into the culture.
Good collaboration skills are important.
