Job : Database developer

We have immediate positions with our Financial client and are looking for a qualified Database developer to develop procedures to extract and report services data from backup storage products (Bocada, OCI) which manages our backup hardware/software (TSM, Avamar, DataDomain

Location: Jersey City

Duration: 12+ months

Responsibilities

Design, develop data collection procedures for backup services management
Liaise with backup support team and backup management team to make sure reports requirements are documented/approved and appropriate data are collected to provide the reports.
Ensure on-time and high-quality deliverables. Meet all milestones and deadlines.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience as a Database developer
Some exposure to backup software and hardware such as TSM, Avamar, Datadomain
Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
Experience in SQL and Oracle
Development experience in programming languages (python, java, C# for example) that can be used to interface with SQL based databases.
Excellent analytical and organization skills
An ability to understand backup management requirements and a problem-solving attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
