Our Client is looking for a java developer/Web Services Developer with 3 years of experience who can develop, modify, and applies computer modeling and programming applications to analyze and solve mathematical and scientific problems affecting system and program performance. Participates in all phases of scientific and engineering projects such as research, design, development, testing, modeling, simulating, training, and documentation.

Required Skills:
Create new Web Services
Support existing WebServices and perform enhancements for internal WebServices
Add security authentication to the existing WebServices
Experience in developing and maintaining SOAP and REST services and web application using JAVA, J2EE, JSon, JQuery, JUnit, Spring
Knowledge of Spring JPA with Hibernate is required for persistence
Experience using Apache CXF, Axis2 framework for WebServices
Able to manipulate back end Oracle DB with expertise in CRUD operations
Good analysis skills for trouble shooting Production issues
Experience analyze the code for the cross-impacts while developing defects and enhancements for releases
Work on Web Service API s for exposing functionalities to client applications.
Work with different system owners for application integrations between systems
Experience in performing thorough unit testing and code reviews
Experience in Analysis/Design/Manipulation/Clean up processes

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge in JavaScript
Have worked in development tools – Jira, Git and Confluence
Worked in Agile/Scrum team environment
Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT Management, or other IT degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience Engineering, math, and/or science degrees are acceptable substitute degrees.
