Position: Java Webservices
Location: Columbus, OH & Chicago, IL

Strong communication. Demonstrated ability to set direction and drive a development team towards that direction

Advance object-oriented design and design patterns

Effective documentation of designs

Expert Java programming knowledge

Working knowledge of web-related technologies (Javascript, JQuery, CSS, HTML, etc)
Knowledge of open source packages especially those provided by Apache, Google, and Spring

Background on web and application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, or comparable J2EE servers

Strong background on Web Services (SOAP, REST), JMS, J2EE and/or Spring frameworks

Knowledge of build/dependency management tools such as Maven, SCM (Subversion, GIT)

Database knowledge – SQL, table structure, data relationships

Desired Skills:
No-SQL databases such as Cassandra
