Project Description
Interested candidates will support development on the WEB Team / DTS Shared Services group. Development will be primarily with Utah Data Research Center (UDRC) and Web Application development support. This enterprise team provides support for both internet and intranet applications for the Department of Workforce Services (DWS), DWS enterprise efforts in project management and enterprise software. They enhance and maintain the websites and applications for both internal and external customers for DWS. Application size ranges from small to large. The team provides programming support for all DWS web projects, audits, and infrastructure activities. The majority of the dynamic website written in Java using the Spring MVC framework and Oracle 12C database. Static content hosted in our content management server, OpenCMS. The 40 applications hosted on the websites written in asp.net, Java with Spring MVC, Javascript and Angular. Currently, there is a project management team consisting of seven project managers with approximately 60 on-going projects for DWS. There is one information analyst responsible for accessibility testing. Candidates that are scheduled for an interview will be required to take a skills test specifically applicable to the scope of work. This will need to be completed and the results need to be sent to Mark Thomas prior to the interview.
