Java Technical Project Manager @ Wellesley Hills, MA
Qualifications
Basic
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology
Preferred
At least 10+ years of experience in leading projects in an IT or Information Security organization
Knowledge of project management methodology to manage a large complex or several small projects
Ability to coordinate with multiple Service providers needed to delivery key hardware, software or network components per solution design
At least 5 years of experience in Java / J2ee project execution
At least 4 years of experience in Design and architecture review
Experience of executing development projects in Agile Methodology
Experience in Retail, CPG domain. Logistics domain experience will be an added advantage
Ability to lead multi-function project team through influencing skills • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Experience in practicing Quantitative Project Management/ Risk issue and stakeholder management
Expert skill using Microsoft Project to drive project execution
Ability to understand interdependencies and can connect the dots on how one part of a project impacts another • Ability to communicate effectively with senior IT and business leaders • Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills
Experience of working in a Global delivery environment
Industry Certification in Project Management (PMP, Prince2 etc )
Experience of implementing Lean, Six-Sigma best-practices and Capability Maturity Model frameworks.
