Job Description
The Consumer Lending practice is looking for a hands-on Associate Technical Architect for large enterprise application development and maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional problem solving skills and deep programming experience in Java, Java EE, Webservices/Spring/Hibernate technologies. S(he) will be a fast learner and ready to adapt as per the situation demands
Key Responsibilities
Works with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features
Provides technical solution, makes technology choices, clarifies technical feasibility, performs user story sizing estimation
End to end development of the user stories
Identifies and tracks service dependencies, works with external service providers for service contracts and delivery
Create, drive and complete POCs (Proof of Concepts) to test new ideas and apply emerging technologies
Owns development of a few features in every Sprint
Liaise with offshore team and customer for resolving technical dependencies, issues, risks
Supervises and mentors direct reports
Basic Qualification
10-12 years of programming experience in Java, Java EE/Webservices/Spring/Hibernate technologies
Experience in working with cloud deployment (preferably AWS), with a good knowledge of Docker, Spring Boot
Hands on experience on Angular JS development
Good understanding of modern architecture styles, including SOA, micro-services.
Hands on, solid engineering background and programming experience, very strong in design patterns
Experience in architecture, design, implement, and maintain service oriented applications, web sites, and Internet-based applications
Customer oriented - meets individual commitments, works with the team to achieve team commitments, responds to requests in a timely manner, willing to help
Strong verbal and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualification
Experience in working on a CMS
Experience with agile methodologies
Knowledge in US residential mortgage or Financial Services
