Job Description :
Develop and maintain high-level design plans for the overall applications, data, and infrastructure architectures. Provide technical leadership, from senior level decision making down to the project planning level. Gain commitment for high-level plans, initiate and participate in projects to evaluate technologies and methods of implementation.
Take responsibility for the functional design and architecture of application systems across all technologies and platforms
-Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
-Defines all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
Assesses business requirements and technology alternatives
-Build multi-platform technology consensus across business units; evaluate or pilot new technologies
-Implement new technologies in medium and large-scale environments
-Design application''s technical infrastructure, such as specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches
-Uses tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product
-Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
-Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
-Determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
-Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
Solid Experience in Java stack, APIs, Microservices, Agile Development is a must.
Need to have minimum 15 years of IT experience … no issue if it’s higher.
Airline industry experience will be a big plus, especially in the Crew domain. – Please highlight if anyone has this experience.
