Desired Skills:
At least 3 years of solid hands on experience with Java or Scala
Extensive SQL and database skills to deep dive into data
Experience in designing scalable systems
Experience in data management and architecture in Teradata, and Hadoop tools and technologies. Hive, HBase, NiFi, Kafka, Spark, NoSQL DB, or other messaging tools - with hands on experience - a plus
Experience in data management for high performance on large Hadoop clusters
Strong understanding of Hadoop architecture, storage and IO subsystems, network and distributed systems
Strong experience in data management and architecture in RDBMS. SQL based tools - with hands on experience
Strong experience in real time data acquisition in a data warehouse environment
Knowledge of operating system concepts – Multi threading / concurrency
Debugging & troubleshooting the real-time issues
Solid development skills in JavaScript / java or Scala or Python
Strong knowledge of scripting with shell scripting (Bash, PHP, PERL, Python, etc
Experience with versioning, change control and problem management
Understanding of big data platform architecture
Experience in working in Agile environment
Good communication and presentation skills
Bachelor College degree is required
