Java Lead Developer

We need profiles with pharma preclinical experience(mandatory
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 5-10 years of IT business/technical analysis and/or development experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Experience with the programming languages - Java / JavaScript / SQL / Oracle
Familiarity with DevOps concepts, tools - Jenkins, Maven, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Remedy etc
Experience with the web technologies: XML, SOAP, Web and Application Servers, HTML
Experience with Agile methodologies

Excellent technical knowledge, analytical skills and outside the box thinking for problem solving is essential
Effective and proven ability to implement technical solutions with business, IT teams and vendors
Excellent execution, organizational and follow-up skills are critical for this role
Capable of focusing on multiple initiatives in parallel and working in a dynamic environment
Experience with authoring and reviewing Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverables
Design, configuration specifications, system/user acceptance test scripts and installation verification
Be responsible for leading technical change management, design and development, testing strategy, implementation, deployment strategy, hypercare/operational support and environment management for new and existing solutions
Collaborate and partner with IT, delivery/engineering leads, business leads, client service leads, infrastructure, support teams, IT hubs and product/service vendors to implement new & updated solutions
Strong decision-maker, proactive, and results-oriented
Effective and proven presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Knowledge of scientist workflows and research data aggregation, laboratory IT applications and solutions
Understanding of scientist lab workflow, data analysis, visualization solutions
Ability to work in an ambiguous, ever-changing environment where adaptability is highly valued
Experience with defining business processes, key performance indicators, and business capabilities
Experience in Solution Architecture
Experience with cloud platforms and services integration (e.g. AWS)
Good knowledge of Linux OS commands is preferable
