Job Description:
Specific tasks will include:
Responsible for assisting with the technical design for new development and system enhancements.
Responsible for coordinating the technical solutions among various technical support groups.
Presentations of technical solutions to management and technical support areas.
Responsible for implementing technical solutions.
Assisting with requirements gathering sessions.
Leading the analysis of requirements and system design work.
Development of technical design documents and program specifications.
Coding, unit and integration testing of programming assignments.
Writing and tuning SQL
Technical Support of user testing efforts.
Performance tuning of new and existing applications.
Production support tasks including analysis of issues, propose and implement solutions.
Mentoring of less experienced staff would be required.
Candidates should have at least 84 months experience and a majority of the following should apply:

1. At least 84 months experience with J2EE technologies including EJB, JDBC, JSP and XML. #of months 20
2. At least 84 months demonstrated experience with Java programming in an IBM development environment using IDE of IBM''s Rational Application Developer (RAD) that are deployed to Websphere Application Server (WAS #of months 20
3. At least 84 months of IBM DB2 experience working with large DB2 databases and experience with XML schemas (definition, querying and automated generation #of months 15
4. At least 60 months demonstrated experience in performance tuning applications interacting with large scale databases. #of months 15
5. At least 60 months of demonstrated experience in IBM MQSeries #of months 5
6. At least 60 months experience with technical design, development, maintenance and end user support of complex systems. #of months 5
