- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years’ work experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Java version 1.7 or higher
, REST, JEE, ORM Frameworks, SQL, and Linux, XML, Oracle, JavaScript, Clearcase, Spring, Angular, HTML5, Spring boot 4.2 or higher, Github, Agile environment; Spring Cloud, and Netflix OSS; Ecommerce, integration, EDI or retail system application, micro services, JPA/Hibernate, JBoss, Postgres, and Apache Camel, REST based web services
Responsibilities:
The Java Developer will:
Build scalable systems to process millions of orders from some of the world’s largest merchants.
Work in a fast-paced Agile environme
nt.
Re-architect and refactor our back-end order processing system for performance and scalability.
Write well-structured, testable code without much supervision from more senior engineers.
Automate and innovate.
Own projects end-to-end; work with product owners on requirements, design and story break down.
Lead the design and development of integration projects.
Set estimates and hit them.
Work with partner groups and initiate discussions with partner groups when needed.
Be independent and self-directed.
Never enter a code review without a unit test.
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering required
Minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience in Java version 1.7 or higher based enterprise applications.
Experience in JEE, ORM Frameworks, SQL, and Linux
Strong candidates will have 3+ years of experience with performance and scalable systems
Strong candidates will have experience with Springboot 4.2 or higher, Spring Cloud, and Netflix OSS
Strong candidates will have experience with Ecommerce, integration, EDI or retail system application
Strong candidates will have experience with micro services
Strong candidates will have experience in JPA/Hibernate, JBoss, Postgres, and Apache Camel
Strong candidates will have experience with REST based web services
Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
