Technical Lead (Application Development

12 Months (Possible Extension to 24 months)

IT Professional (Senior) Duties:
1.Candidate should be able to design, develop and implement complex solutions based on Java technology and related frameworks.
2.Candidate should be able to lead a team of developers in code reviews, advising team members of the design approach and implementation.
3.Candidate should be able to assist in API implementation, and performance optimization
4.Candidate should be able to assist in the system integration of components.
5.Provides design recommendations and develops enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including interfaces, functions and features.
6.Determines specifications, then plans, designs, and develops the most complex and business critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes – either individually or in concert with a project team.
7.Candidate should be to translate applications requirements into web-based solutions using the recommended frameworks and technology.
8.Candidate should be able to design and implement responsive web application user interfaces using JavaScript/CSS/HTML5/JQuery
Education:
? A Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related technical discipline is required. A Master''s Degree is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
1.A Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related technical discipline.
2.At least 8 years of development experience in Java/J2EE, web applications using AngularJS or JavaScript framework consuming RESTful API''s developed on J2EE platform.
3.At least 5 years of experience in service Oriented Architecture/Service integration with Web Services, EJB, REST and security integration, JPA and unit testing code coverage.
4.Practical knowledge of Jenkins. Maven and Sonar and source control tools like Git.
5.Proficiency of scripting languages such as JavaScript, jQuery, JSON and other front-end scripting languages.
6.Knowledge in application server such as JBOSS/Tomcat.
General Experience:
1.Extensive experience in designing and developing application using Java, scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript and web technologies such as Node.js and Angular.
2.At least 5 years of experience in developing and consuming APIs such as RESTful APIs
3.Must have knowledge in building applications with concurrency.
4.Must have knowledge of Spring Component and Spring Framework.
Preferred Qualifications:
1.Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related technical discipline is required.
2.Experience in Child Support programs and/or Health & Human Services domain.
3.Experience working in cloud platforms and services such as Amazon Web Services, DevOps and containerized cloud environments is preferred.
