Experienced in Python, Java (core), SQL & Cloud Development and has good exposure to web / app servers.
Technical/Functional Skills:
Experience in Python backend scripting
Experience with Java (core)
Exposure to application deployments in App servers
Big Query, Containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes Working knowledge of GCP/ platform
Strong SQL knowledge
UNIX scripting Knowledge
Hadoop knowledge
Process tools (Service Now, Pivotal Tracker)
Experience in Agile software development
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Google Cloud Developer will be responsible for:
Migrating apps from Hadoop environment to new cloud systems
Coding and automation testing
CI pipeline for deployment
Generic Skills:
Good written/Oral Communication, Presentation, Interactive skills with team across geography.
Flexible to work either independently or with team.
Must have sense of urgency and display high availability to coordinate development activities. Onshore / Offshore team coordination.
