Full-time professional work experience in Information Technology, to provide Java support on several new initiatives during the next fiscal year.
Please note - the start date on this position is not accurate. Manager would like a candidate to start ASAP (within 2 weeks, if possible)
Among them are adding support for TomEE application server and add new features and functionality as requested by the Agencies that use eCATS, identify and implement new security fixes to resolve system vulnerabilities, and review and implement upgrades for increased performance.
IT experience in developing multi-tier web application projects using Java/J2EE (Servlet, JSP, Struts, tag libraries, JDBC 2.0) and Web services.
Needs to have proven expertise in RDBMS’, such as Oracle.
Development of stored procedures and functions using PL/SQL. Knowledge of developing Webservices, JSP, and Beans.
Ability to work with a team leader to develop application migration strategies. Ability to migrate enterprise java applications to a new architecture. Functional experience with State/Federal timekeeping systems.
Required Skills:
Prior experience developing J2EE applications
Prior experience with JSP/Webservices.
Development of applications using Model-2 Architecture

Recent development on TomEE Application Server
Prior experience working with a team leader to develop application migration strategies
Proven experience in migrating Enterprise Java applications to a new architecture or platform
