We are working on a new multiple Java Developer contract to Full Time/Perm openings
We have 10 new openings at the following levels:
Number of Positions and Seniority Required:
Candidates can sit in Boston, New Jersey, Minnesota and/or South Carolina.
Client will hire off of a Skype interview but on-site is ideal.
We can accept c2c candidates but the candidate must be able to go perm without sponsorship (only US Citizen, Greencard/Perm Resident, GC-EAD or H4 EAD candidates) and the subvendor must be give consent in writing that the candidate can go Full Time with Client.
Description:
Our client is a Large Healthcare Company located in Downtown Boston (Fenway area) that is looking for multiple
Java Developers to fill 10 existing 6+ month Contract to Full Time/Perm positions.
These openings will be within our client’s Enterprise Architecture and Portal Integration team.
Candidates will be working to modernize/update their existing technology and architecture.
Information on the project:
This project will ensure high quality, scalable, consistent and available data in real-time to all internal and external
consumers by shifting the architecture of data exposure to managed APIs that will consolidate data consumption –
driving down costs by increasing reuse and operational excellence while detangling the ”rubber band ball” of legacy
data dependencies. Specifically, data streaming, caching and RESTful APIs decouple data providers and consumers,
allow unlimited horizontal scale, and impose a stable, versioned data contract. This will set a new precedent of
technical rigor and modern engineering practice for our client.

Required Skills for Java Developer:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Strong Core Java experience
NoSQL datavase experience (ideally with Cassandra)
Experience with RESTful API development
Experience working on a Unix/Linux platform
Desired Skills (not required but you will get exposure to some of these):
Master’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
Experience with Kafka, Cassandra and/or ElasticSearch
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field Strong Core Java experience NoSQL datavase experience
