Job Description:
Candidates must be able to fully understand dev code, contribute to design sessions and code reviews, and can occasionally make contributions to the dev code – but the primary responsibility would be to test. Candidates must possess a testing mindset and testing approach to solving problems.
Things to know about the current environment and areas to brush up on:
Automation frameworks there are 2- rest assured/rest API for backend testing, protractor and sauce labs for UI automation testing.
Jenkins, JIRA – The need to know the basics.
Some team members are using cucumber.
SQL – be prepared to answer questions around stored procedures functions, indexing, queries, and functions. Don’t need to be an expert but must be comfortable.
Must be strong in Java
