Job Title: Application Developer III (IT)
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 12 Months
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engagement Description:
Working with Security and Internal customers to document business requirements
Translating business requirements to technical requirements
Creating technical initiative plans
Creating technical solution designs
Estimating Technical Efforts
Coordination of Technical Resources
Communication to both Technical and non-technical resources and customers
Maintaining technical project plans
Development of technical solutions which may include, Java, JavaScript, Shell Scripts (including PowerShell) and integration and configuration with Identity Security COTS applications
Creating Deployment Documentation
Facilitating Knowledge Transfer Sessions
Production support of development during warranty periods
Balancing of multiple assignments simultaneously
QUALIFICATIONS:
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience:
6 years experience as Java/JavaScript Developer
6 years experience Integrating multiple systems
6 years experience with complete software project lifecycle design (with Security Applications)
Required Skills/Experience:
An overview of Identity Management, and information security
At least 5 years of work experience in the following:
Strong Java and application development experience
Knowledge of operating systems – Unix, Linux, and Windows
SQL
Shell scripting
J2EE Web applications (JSP, HTML etc
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Self-starter
Strong communication skills and problem solving ability
Education/Certifications – Include:
Bachelor''s degree in related field preferred
5 years of application programming and analysis experience required
Has a broad level of understanding surrounding information systems and application architecture standards
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes that span multiple business areas, identify and understand requirements, and develop alternate solutions
Experience designing, developing and testing applications using proven or emerging technologies
