Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance applications for Treasury and CIO business including:
Requirement gathering and analysis
Technical design and documentation
Coding and peer code review
Unit test coverage and automation
Application release management
Status reporting to management
Follow firm wide SDLC standards and procedures
Qualifications
10+ years of application development with strong Java and Oracle
Minimum of 6 months working experience in Hadoop and big data technologies
Knowledgeable of fixed income products and trade life cycle events a (MUST)
Experienced in application development, data and requirement analysis
Experienced with multi-tiered / service oriented architectures
Proficient in Unix/Linux command line, shell scripting and Web Services
Knowledge of messaging technology
Full SDLC life cycle experience in requirement gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, and release management
Experienced in agile methodology
Fluent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated team player
Computer Science or equivalent degree
