Job Description :

Position Summary- Urgently Looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated, Java developer for a Civilian Government Client. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Java/J2EE/JSP, and SQL

Requirements:

- 5+ years of combined application development experience that includes some combination of the following:

§ UI: Jsp’s, java script, html, css. [must have]

§ Strong level SQL knowledge [must have]

§ Hands-on experience with Tableau professional is a big plus

§ Java under Unix Environment – [Must Have]

§ Database: IBM DB2 [good to have]

§ IDE: Eclipse [experience with other IDE would suffice]

§ Project management tool: IBM RTC [good to have]

§ Webservers: IBM Websphere, tomcat [good to have ]

§ Should be familiar with UNIX scripts. [good to have]

§ Experience in Excel sheets, generating reports/charts.

- Strong analytical and problem solving aptitude in a software development environment

- Understanding of the lifecycle of software development from technical design, unit testing to user testing, to production migration.

- Ability to write documentation to describe custom configuration of applications and operating procedures.

- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field is preferable but not required.

- A team player and excellent interpersonal skills.

- Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing
