Roles & Responsibilities:
Understand and translate business needs into Java programs supporting long-term solutions
Experienced in Services Oriented Architecture (SOA), understanding complex database systems and server platforms
Works with the Business Analysts, Architects and Development Leads to develop value-based solutions in Java business layer components
Contributes to build/deployments using the tools such as Bamboo and bitbucket
Understands and develops SQL queries/stored procedures in DB2 and SQL server
Develop Hibernate mapping from Java classes to database tables, and mapping from Java data types to SQL data types
Analyse business logic related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions
Develop components according to company standards
Coordinate with the onshore/offshore teams to manage enhancements and support activities in a global delivery model
Customer interaction and requirement gathering
Design Document walk-through
Production implementation support
