Our client, one of the twelve regional Reserve banks in the Fed System, seeks an accomplished Sr. Java Developer.

Description:
Designs, tests, and implements Java-based web applications using industry standard software development practices, techniques, tools, and frameworks. Designs and develops complex business components in Java deploying to Java EE Application Servers.
Translate application storyboards, use cases and web-page concept designs into functional, dynamic web applications.
Develop and unit test complex application web components.
Develop complex application business logic using Java. Design and code, and integrate application business layer with external application components.
Create or update system documentation. Demonstrate the ability to multitask. Transfer knowledge and transition work to the team.
Write meaningful complex documents such as program specifications and test plans. Documents should be clear, concise, grammatically correct, and require minimal editing.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience required. Expert in open source frameworks (Hibernate, Spring
Use and apply technical/business knowledge on both the job and future planning of job deliverables.
Expert on Java EE technologies (specifically JSP/JSF, JDBC, JPA, JAXB, JAXP, Web Services – JAX-WS, Maven to build
Experience with MyFaces, Trinidad, Spring Web Flow, Spring Batch, RichFaces, and Facelets is a plus.
Experience with Eclipse/ RSA, Oracle, WebLogic, WebSphere, & web services.
Working knowledge with Angular is a plus.
Must be familiar with implementing standard best practices (e.g. secure programming, Java patterns, test first development
Provide expert technical mentoring on the tools used for a specific project and how to get the most out of the tools.
