ROLE OVERVIEW: Client has an immediate need for strong mid-level Java Developers. The positions are on a long term contract basis, with strong potential to become a permanent employee. The candidate will be responsible for a significant amount of hands-on software development to assist in testing various applications. The successful candidate must be able to work in a performance driven and team environment. The Java Developer needs to be comfortable creating stories and testing as well as strong experience writing SQL queries.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor''s Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
6+ years of demonstrable hands on experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
At a minimum, candidates should possess skills / experience including, but not limited to, the following:
Ability to analyze and linearize algorithms
Understand how to use data structures correctly
Development and programming experience in Java / J2EE
Strong RDBMS skills
Candidates should have experience throughout all phases of the SDLC; specific testing experience should include:
Execution of test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
Testing system modifications to prepare for implementation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
AWS experience
