10+ months
$55 – 65/Hr DOE
Phone then Skype then F2F (We will bear the expense of the F2F)
Minimum Qualifications:
BS, Degree Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years’ experience Java, J2EE, JSP or related development experience
4+ years’ experience in MVC frameworks
o Struts
o Spring or similar
Web 2.0 experience, including:
o OO Javascript,
AJAX, DHTML
JS libraries (eg jQuery/DOJO/ExtJs )etc
Working understanding of HTML5, Javascript and CSS3
Web service experience:
o SOAP Request/Response handling,
o Authentication

Technical Skills:
5+ years Java, J2EE, JSP development experience.
4+ years Java/J2EE design experience
2+ years MVC Framework experience: Struts2, Spring MVC or similar
XML, XSL, processing/parsing.
Candidate must have strong structured methodology experience
Strong J2EE/OO Design patterns experience
Experience with implementing common design patterns
Webservice design experience: SOAP Request/Response handling, authentication, Axis2, CXF.
Use of Unified Modeling Language (UML) to conceive a design
Knowledge of web security standards and how to apply them
Preferred Skills:
SQL and common database knowledge (Oracle 10g)
Basic UNIX experience.
Source code control systems: eg CVS, git
Build processes and Ant/Maven.
Experience with large scale, high volume web-based applications.
Experience with internationalization
