Java Developer
Indianapolis, IN
6+ Month Contract
-Java Developer responsible for Java Development and willing and able to mentor Mainframe developers changing to Java. They have taken Java classes so just need to help them get up and running.
Need someone personable, interacting as a mentor and able to communicate effectively.
-currently deploying code on OSGI container karaf (instead of tomcat No experience necessary, but would be a plus
-We have some legacy code which needs to be migrated to the latest JDK and from tomcat to karaf
- We have a need for this person to help get mainframe developers started in JAVA and to help implement some restful APIs, deployed in karaf.
-legacy code that needs to be converted is mostly back end (integration layer) code. Reading databases and creating files and reading configurations and creating other types of files.
