Job Description :
HumanEdge is looking for a mid-senior level Java Developer to join one of our innovative media startup clients in Fort Lee, NJ. This role will be to provide superior backend development in Java while working in a Spring framework with other backend developers, DevOps engineers, and UI/UX specialists. The candidate should be comfortable from both a technical and business facing perspective as he/she will be expected to talk with internal clients/sales representatives about the functionalities of the products he/she is building.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of development experience in Java
- Experience with Spring or Spring Boot
- Comfortable with front-end programming (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), and React
- Ability to do own testing
- Experience in an AWS environment and light exposure to containerization (i.e. Docker or Kubernetes)
- Experience with other AWS tools/frameworks: CloudWatch, Redshift
- Experience with databases and database development – PostgreSQL, SQL
- Proficient in an agile environment building programs from development to deployment
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside technical and business units to provide oversight and information on functionality of product development
- Collaborate with other developers on testing of individual projects
- Work independently on development projects in a data-focused environment for high-traffic websites
- Manage traffic performance, serve pages better, and collaborate with sales to help with issues
