Job Description
The mid-level developers chosen for this contract will:
Review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support Banking’s application system using existing frameworks and support tools. All work will be conducted under the guidance of the project’s lead developer and in coordination with our senior Java developer.
We require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least three (3) years experience in the field or in a related area. Candidate must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. This position relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
The candidate must also be able to communicate clearly in English with both technical staff and business subject matter experts. Communication may be oral or in writing.
We require at least three years of experience with Java; some experience with Oracle PL/SQL would be helpful but not required. The developer must be familiar with NetBeans, Junit, Jenkins, and the use of Git repositories. The ideal candidate will also have experience with the Wildfly application server.
Work will be conducted on site at 1560 Broadway, Denver, Colorado. This is the main site for DORA-Banking and the OIT development team. We expect that there will be minimal opportunities to work from home.
General Qualifications
Researches, collects, and reports information on the ability and capacity of company products and competing equipment. Aids in the design and development of equipment and systems, and redesign of existing systems to fulfill the needs of customers. Responsibilities also include providing equipment functionality and capability reports, and acting as technical liaison to a team. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 2 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
