Description:
• Designs, develops, tests, and evaluates software and systems that enable computers to perform their applications, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Excludes paraprofessional positions and requires a degree in software engineering design and development.
• Researches, designs, and develops computer software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
• Formulates and designs software system, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
• Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation
• Consults with customer concerning maintenance of software system.
• May coordinate installation of software system. 5-8 years of experience required.
Requirements.
• 5+ years of experience in analysis, design, implementation and testing of Web Based Applications using Java, J2EE technologies and Object Oriented Programming Concepts. • Proficient in SQL and Stored Procedures Oracle, MySQL
• 5+ years of Java JDK 1.6/1.7/1.8, JavaScript
• 5+ years of Spring, Hibernate, EJB, JPA, JSF, Struts, Servlets 3.x
• 5+ years of Build Tools ANT, MAVEN
• 5+ years of Unix, Linux Operating Systems
• Experience with Scrum and other Agile processes.
• Experience with Jira, Git/SVN, Jenkins • 5+ years of Experience with design and development of REST services, JAX-WS, JAX-RPC, JAX-RS, SOAP, REST, SOAP UI
• Experience with API platform using APIGEE/APIM
• Experience with Security frameworks (e.g., JWT, OATH2)
• Experience in API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications etc. using APIGEE
• Experience in creating API documentation using Swagger and YAML or similar tools desirable
• Experience with DevOps test automation scripting, Monitoring Tools
• Knowledge of Security Flaw remediation, mitigation
