Description:
This job involves technical support of vendor-based workflow applications with in-house developed Java interfaces.
The application is Java-based running in distributed Windows environment interfacing with a SQL Server database platform.
It is based on the iProcess engine vendor product from Tibco (formerly a Staffware product
Responsibilities:
Analysis and trouble-shooting, code development and modifications, and testing in support of application projects, along with rotational on-call production support.
There will be numerous interactions with peers and users for technical support, research, trouble-shooting and testing coordination.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate should have 5 or more years of design, development, implementation and support experience.
Candidate should have a well demonstrated history of design and development skills in Java and WebSphere using J2EE technologies, adequate knowledge of SQL.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed, along with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical personnel.
Candidate should have solid experience of working in a fast paced development environment and multiple initiatives with good multi-tasking skill.
Expectation is for: (a) 4 years of core Java skills, (b) extensive experience with SQL Server, (c) 4 years of demonstrated development experience in client/server environment (d) demonstrated experience in analysis, troubleshooting, code development, modifications and testing in support of application projects (e) some knowledge of banking operations is preferred, (f) BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred, (g) experience with Tibco/Staffware iProcess Engine software products.
