Job Description :
Mandatory: Java, Groovy, AngularJS (1.3), SQL, Spring Core
Preferred: XML, JSON, Maven, Git, JUnit
Optional: IntelliJ, Gherkin, Jenkins, Tomcat, Docker, Sonar, Velocity (templating)
Angular is used for UI. JSON and XML are also heavily used.
Hibernate- Custom Persistor, Oracle 12g database.
Most developers here at GAIG are working on Groovy coding. They don''t need to code Java. But since Java is used to build the base framework, so people need to be able to understand it.
Must have – Spring MVC Framework, XML, Schema, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework )
Familiarity with ESB, JSON velocity template is a plus. IntelliJ is the IDE for development. GitHub is used for source control. So prior experience with these would be a plus.
Property and Casualty domain experience is a HUGE plus but not a Must Have
