Our client is a Pharmaceutical Company in the Cambridge, MA area that is looking for a Web Application Developer to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Web Application Developer to help build our client’s data
analysis platform. The individual will design and develop new and innovative ways to bring information to our users
and enable timely, data-driven decision-making. Join our team and help us make a positive impact on cancer

Responsibilities:
Design and develop user-friendly web applications to support our client’s research and development efforts.
Participate in discussion with other functions to understand and help solve their challenges.
Maintain existing web and command line applications by improving performance or security and implementing new
features as request by end users.
Manage and integrate data and communications from different data management systems and lab automation
systems.
Design and develop web services to support inter-process/inter-application information exchanges.
Must haves:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
3-5+ years’ of professional experience
Strong experience buidling high performing, scalable and secure systems
Strong experience with web application development including working with JQuery, Bootstrap and/or React
Strong UI design experience
Strong experience with Java, Play and Spring
Experience with writing unit tests
Experience with Oracle and MySQL databases
Nice to haves:
Experience with Couchbase
Experience with PL/SQL and Stored Procedures developments
Experience with Natural Language Processing and/or Machine Learning technology
Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, R and/or Tibco Spotfire
