Project: Department of Health Executive Staff and Office of Health Emergency Preparedness
To assist in development support and maintenance of Office for Healthcare Emergency Preparedness (OHEP) funded applications used for preparedness planning and response in emergencies. These funds will provide HBITS staff for three years. During this time, there will be multiple applications that need to be updated to include Countermeasure Data Management System (CDMS), Medical Emergency Response Inventory Tracking System (MERITS), new application called IMS Dashboard, as well as other OHEP applications.
Responsibilities:
Design and code from requirements and functional specifications.
Analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement Java application.
Work with staff to ensure smooth and correct operations of any code or web services used by the application.
Produce technical and user documentation as requested.
Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support.
Provide technical solutions for large scalable designs.
Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical personnel.
Communicate with programmatic units to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Required Skills/ Experience/ Education:
84 months of demonstrated experience with coding web technologies in a JEE environment, including Servlets, JSP, Java/ J2EE, HTTP, HTML, XML, SQL, JDBC and application servers.
84 months of experience with Model-View-Controller pattern and common frameworks such as Spring.
84 months experience with Oracle database servers and PL/SQL. Experience should include creating stored procedures, triggers, and other objects.
48 months experience with modern JavaScript/ TypeScript frameworks and advanced User Interface (UI) design like AngularJS, Angular5, and BootStrap.
36 months demonstrated hands-on experience with RESTful web service development.
36 months hands-on experience with Java Server Faces (JSF
