Job Description

Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
Continuously improve software engineering practices
Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self- organization, and diversity

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
Hands-on senior engineer with at least 5 years of experience working in an Agile environment leveraging advanced engineering practices to design and deliver scalable enterprise solutions
At least 3 years of experience with Java programming language
At least 3 years’ hands on experience with RESTful Web Services
At least 3 years’ experience in working with relational or non-relational database systems
At least 3 years’ experience in software development, integration and delivery practices using some of the DevOps tools like Chef, Jenkins and Maven

Qualifications:
At least 3 years’ experience with Spring Framework
At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, preferably AWS
At least 2 years’ experience with messaging systems
At least 2 experience with service orchestration or service discovery
At least 2 years of deployment pipeline for services on cloud-based environments
At least 5 years with web application development including Dynamic HTML, CSS, Angular JS and JS integration
At least 2 years’ experience with Multi-Threading, Caching and Web Security
At least 2 years’ Experience in Acceptance Test-Driven Design (ATDD) experience
At least 2 years of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
