Required Experience:
Bachelor''s Degree or Master''s Degrees in Information Systems, Computer Science, or 8 years equivalent experience. 7 years leading technology projects with large to complex sized projects, 6 years in identifying technical solutions for complex business problems, identifying the benefits and risks of the solutions and providing recommendations, 6 years design experience with 3 years advanced design experience, 3 years full life cycle development in an enterprise development environment, 3 years configuration management 3 years design and modeling tools, including those present in a IaC, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery 3 years working in an Agile DevOps model. 5+years of technology leadership experience in the financial industry
Required Skills:
Full stack developer with working experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Ruby, js, Java, Python Experience with devops toolchain automation tools model such as Git, BitBucket, Ansible, Maven, JUnit, Static Code Analysis, etc. Understanding of architecture patterns constructs (architecture/design patterns, SOAP, REST etc. Relational database development experience and proficiency with advanced SQL concepts such as complex joins, triggers, cursors, correlated sub queries, analytic functions (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL, RDS) Experience extracting data from a variety of data stores including relational databases, RESTful and web services Deep experience designing, developing and implementing software solutions with cross-functional teams Ability to articulate solutions to business, on-shore, offshore and nearshore technology and service providers Willingness and ability to learn new tools, technology or programming languages Ability to present accurate development effort estimates and provide timely updates Ability to manage commitment across multiple initiatives simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to describe complex problems and solutions in simple, understandable terms Ability to work calmly and constructively under pressure and deliver on commitments Identify and remediate risks in design.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with the any Portal technology and content management systems, integration with Cloud applications, Experience with API integration Experience with data modeling including normalization, logical and physical designs. Experience in a DevOps culture Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure
