Job Description :
The Java Application Engineer will develop, maintain, and improve Java, web service-based applications. The role will actively participate with an Agile Squad focused on building Java web services with a goal of delivering software with every sprint iteration. Experience and an understanding of contemporary development and testing techniques and tools is essential, which includes having a fundamental understanding of when to write unit, functional, and end-to-end tests.
The Java Application Engineer will be helping to ensure the financial integrity, i.e. accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, of back-end retail transactions using in-house data integrations. This role’s work on new services and implementing updates to existing RESTful microservices-based architecture will help foster industry standard compliance which are essential to providing the best and most secure experience for customers.
