Position: Java Application Developer
Location: Columbus, OH
Interview: Phone & Face 2 Face (Skype for Non Local)
Duration: 18+ Months (Chance of long term extension)

Skills: Java/J2EE, Oracle, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, XML, Spring, iBatis/Hibernate, Struts, IDE, Java 1.7, version control system (SVN or GitHub), Maven and Web Sphere Server, Agile/Lean and Scrum.

Description & Responsibilities:
Team is responsible for providing End- to – End test environment support and test data services to IT Business Partners.

Test Environment services include Build out of Path-to Production, coordinating test environment provisioning and interface applications, execution of release configuration changes and Implementation support for a specific application or an application suite.

Test Data services include synchronized data identification, data masking, extraction and loading into a test environment.

Role:
As a Java/J2EE developer duties are going to be as follows:
- Technical design and development of software components using Java/J2EE for the internal application.
- Understanding the current system quickly and ready to start on enhancements.
- Working with Business Partners for the requirements and convert user requirements into high quality functional solutions, with involvement in the full life-cycle of the project.
- Performing performance tuning / testing on application code.
- Working closely with other team members.

Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience to analysis, design, develop software solutions in Java/J2EE and Oracle related technologies.
- Experience in developing web application using Spring, iBatis/Hibernate, Struts frameworks.
- Should be good at writing SQLs and Stored Procedure using all distributed relational databases such as Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server.
- Experience in Java 1.7 or higher, JSP, XML, Shell scripting, JavaScript, HTML, IDE (Exclipse or RAD)
- Must have experience in one version control system (SVN or GitHub), Maven and Web Sphere Server.
- Nice to have release management process activities
- The candidate should be familiar with Agile/Lean and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
