Java AWS Developer
Front end: Apache Camel, Java (Preferably Java8)
Framework: Reactive or Aka or Play framework
Database: No preference.
Cloud: AWS, ECS, Docker Containers, EC2, SQS.
Mandatory Skills:
AWS, Cloud concepts should be solid
Be able to talk to different stakeholders and engage in Cloud PoCs
Strong knowledge of Java, JEE, Spring, TC Server development background
Good Communication skill, Onsite experience
Experience in AWS and Java development background is must
Job Description:
Experience in migrating to AWS architecture with VPC, Routing, security, Zone, Region considerations
Designing, Deploying, managing, and operating dynamically scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant, reliable enterprise-wide systems on AWS
Selecting appropriate AWS services to design and deploy an application based on given requirements
Knowledge of application deployment and data migration on cloud
Migrating complex, multi-tier applications on AWS
Infrastructure as Code automation using cloud formation
Build, Deploy, and Manage AWS services (Cloud formation, EBS, EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, etc
Manage and design build and deployment pipelines using AWS services, Lambda
Knowledge of monitoring, logging and cost management in a AWS cloud environment
2+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of AWS cloud applications.
Spring, Struts, Hibernate, Java experience – OOPS concepts, Design Patterns, Data Structures, Multithreading. (Good to have Java8 experience)
Web services experience – REST and SOAP, experience in working with databases Oracle, SQL
Experience in virtualization tools like Docker.
CI and CD tools like – Jenkins, Rundeck, version controlling tools like – SVN, GIT
Be able to lay the governance/standards for Cloud/AWS teams and review the work completed
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to correlate system behaviors based on known interdependencies between those systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified AWS Professional Solution Architect or AWS Certified Developer
Exposure to Agile.
Experience with SaaS/PaaS/IaaS-based vendor solutions
Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Stash and Bitbuket)
Experience with various application architectures
