Be a part of solid Wireless practice at ITP!

Maintain responsibility for the design, development, and integration of 802.11 WLAN systems. Apply knowledge of radio frequency (RF) and wireless local area network (WLAN) theory and industry best practices to design end-to-end solutions based on client requirements. Exhibit knowledge of Wi-Fi fundamentals, security, site surveying, installation and deployment considerations, and troubleshooting.


Experience with various WLAN topologies, including indoor, outdoor, high-density, campus, mesh, remote, and industrial

Experience with different environments including health care, manufacturing, warehouse, and outdoor

Experience with WLAN survey tools, especially AirMagnet and Ekahau

Experience with Spectrum Analyzer tools (e.g. Spectrum Expert, Chanalyzer)

Identity-based access solutions for WLAN deployments (ISE, ACS, Clearpass)

Experience with wireless intrusion detection and prevention systems, including WIDS and WIPS

Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 Certificates and certificate authorities

Ability to perform monitoring and troubleshooting of various WLAN technologies and topologies

Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, with good communication (written and oral) and coordination skills

Consult with both internal as well as client teams to drive solutions from design to completion

Ability to manage a team of up to 6 engineers

Experience with survey and WLAN design

Technical certifications including

o Certified Wireless Network Professional certifications (CWNA, CWSP, CWAP, CWDP, CWNE)

o Cisco CCNA-W or CCNP-W

o Aruba ACMA or ACMP
