Job Description :
JOB POSITION: Performance Tester
JOB LOCATION: Remote
Long Term

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand functionality of assigned projects and the potential performance impacts
Understand and validate performance test objectives
Design, develop and execute performance test cases and scripts using HP LoadRunner/Storm Runner.
Identify performance issues using Performance Diagnostics Tool, analyzing the results and sharing the observations with the stakeholders
Setting up monitors and gather the performance statistics during the test execution
Analyze performance test results and share with business, development and internal team members as appropriate
Participate in application and technology requirement gathering, design and functionality reviews when required
Maintain a working knowledge of test environment logical and physical, software and hardware architectures

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Excellent understanding of software testing methodology, processes and tools
Hands on experience with performance test tools like Load Runner/Storm Runner/Performance Center
Sound knowledge in Performance testing concepts and methodologies
Should be familiar with scripting through VuGen
Should be familiar with APIs performance testing
Should be familiar with HP ALM
Should be familiar with the performance monitoring concepts
Hands on experience in writing SQL statements
Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-changing environment
Quality deliverables and customer satisfaction focused
Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
Excellent analytical, time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to respond quickly to changing demands and market conditions
Commitment to teamwork and ability to operate in a matrix environment
Strong implementation methodology skill

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in software testing
Preferably 2 to 3 Years of Performance Testing of enterprise software services experience
Intermediate level experience writing PL/SQL queries
