Job Description:
* Design, develop, implement, and support JD Edwards World
applications, programs, and application interfaces using standard JD Edwards
programming practices while following all applicable procedures.
* Good Functional Understanding of Sales & Distribution, Manufacturing
and Financials Modules.
Develop and maintain corresponding application documentation per
validation protocols and procedures.
Perform complex analysis and design tasks without direct
supervision.
Review functional requirements and develop design specifications
to meet the requirements
Perform unit tests to verify the application functionality against
the requirements/design specification
Demonstrate an understanding of relevant technical/functional
information.
Collects information, seeks input from others, and identifies
probable causes of problem. Through the use of information, provides
alternatives to resolve problems.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to manage
multiple priorities
Ability to think creatively and challenge the status quo
Ability to drive for results and meet project deadlines.
Required Education / Experience
Bachelor''s Degree in Information Science, Business, MIS,
Computer Science or equivalent.
5 + years'' experience developing code on iSeries system
using RPG, RPGLE, RPG Free, and CLP.
Excellent analytical and communication skills required.
Data analysis experience and skills preferred.
Ability to work closely with all levels of the
organization and to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources,
including upper management, clients and other departments.
Experience using SQL on iSeries and Oracle.
