JDE Applications Developer
The JDE Applications Developer is responsible for systems analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and support of technical solutions within the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 ERP system and other supporting business applications. Candidate will collaborate with business analysts and business leads to develop business solutions to support the finance, distribution, supply chain, purchasing and construction functions. Candidate will also code and unit test approved JDE gap related items.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Review and analyze business requirements and develop solutions using JDE EnterpriseOne and other available tools
that enhance or support company business and operations
Participate in defining project proposals and estimates, statements of work, project plans and implementation
strategies for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Enhancements (RICE)
Develop, code and test JDE RICE deliverables according to JDE best practices
Communicate product information and provide guidance to clients and coworkers on issues, tools and techniques,
enhancements, changes in processes and related information
Work collaboratively with consultants, implementation managers and client IT resources to develop, test, implement
products and issue resolution
Ensure quality of RICE deliverables using development testing methods, code reviews and user acceptance testing
Setup and monitor scheduled jobs
Monitor JDE and JAS logs
Provide end-user and implementation team troubleshooting assistance
Attend and actively participate in project and internal status meetings
Remain abreast of E1 Systems Administration and E1 Code current practices
Perform Client Assessments, compile data and communicate to appropriate parties

Must be knowledgeable in principles of Change Management and possess ability to serve as a Change Agent
Strong Relationship management and interpersonal skills are required
Highly detail oriented, excellent organizational skills and ability to work autonomously
Excellent listening, writing, verbal, facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, presentation and teamwork skills
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of customer requirements and ensure delivery to these requirements

Object Management Workbench (OMW) and Solution
Report Design Aid
Forms Development and Event Rules
Table Conversions
BSFNs and NERs
Knowledge of and proficiency in JDE Power forms and JDE Security setup and maintenance
Knowledge of Go-Anywhere, DSI and E-Commerce preferred
Expert level understanding of EnterpriseOne project promotion, package builds and deployments.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business related field; equivalent education and experience may be substituted for a degree.
5+ years of JD Edwards Enterprise One Developer experience
Experience with JDE Enterprise One 9.0 or higher
Experience with Financial Report Writer
JDE Business Services knowledge and experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting experience of interactive applications, UBE and business functions
Strong knowledge and familiarity with JDE interoperability processes, such as Z file processing.
Experience using BI Publisher
Strong understanding of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne foundation.
Experience with a variety of relational database servers is preferred – Oracle, SQL Server or DB2
Experience in writing SQL queries
