JD Edwards Developer

Job Summary:
The JD Edwards Developer provides leadership and coordination for JDE system solutions. The developer performs systems analyst and programming activities for the functional areas of the business.
The job responsibilities include:
Provides technical training, guidance, and resource support for end users and Departmental staff.
Provides application support and enhancements to existing JD Edwards applications. Defines system requirements, priorities, and viable alternatives. Coordinates the efforts of staff to locate, assess, install, test, and maintain the JD Edwards system. Coordinates conversions and upgrades to vendor systems that interact with the JD Edwards system.
Create and maintain technical documents/computer training materials and provide training to I.T. support staff as needed.
Performs analysis and makes recommendations in areas that require a high level of technical competency.
Performs a variety of complex programming tasks, such as designing, documenting, and coding program logic.
At times, performs as a project lead and directs systems analysts. Provides leadership and coordination on projects assigned to external programmers
Develops user documentation and departmental policies and procedures that impact the use of application systems.
Qualifications:
Advanced technical knowledge and development experience in JD Edwards 9.0 or above applications including BSSV – 5-7 years
Project Management experience – 2-5 years
SQL Development - 2-5 years
Experience using the EnterpriseOne programming toolset, including Forms Design (all or most Form types), Report Design (All Report types), BI Publisher, and Table Conversion
Must possess a high skill level with Event Rule and C Business Function Debugging, to investigate and fix technical issues.
Strong oral and technical writing skills with proven experience in documenting System standards
Strong implementation and systems integration background.
Education Required:
BS/BA degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields desirable. Relevant experience may be substituted for formal training.
