Description of Position:
This role is responsible for developing and supporting application components using JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. You will work closely with team members including: development, business analysts, team leads, quality assurance, infrastructure, and project management. The person that fills this role must have the ability to work independently on assignments with minimal supervision while remaining highly collaborative.
Qualifications/Experience
Education: Bachelor''s Degree; Masters of Science in Computer Science preferred
Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a web developer
Superior analytical and problem solving ability
Aesthetic sensibility
Team player who can deliver in a high pressure demanding environment
Excellent JavaScript knowledge ES5/ES6
Experience with frameworks such as Canvas, React or KnockoutJS
HTML5, CSS3
Client side architecture
Ability to quickly mockup web interfaces, graphics and web controls. This includes the ability to suggest options and provide alternative prototypes
Writing automated tests for client-side
Version control
Development and debugging tools
Client side validation and error handling best practices
Familiarity and implementation of industry-standard algorithms and design patterns
Prior production support or maintenance experience
