Test Automation Engineer
The client is looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer with excellent Java development skills to work on a pilot project that will contribute to an enterprise test strategy. The goal will be to assess, architect and implement automation solutions appropriate to the application under test under direction from the Automation Architect. This role will be required to develop automation appropriate for the application under test and make best practice recommendations about when and how to leverage automation. It is expected that this team member will contribute to other SDLC deliverables (e.g. writing/executing manual tests) to learn the application and support in-progress deliverables.
This role requires candidates who have:
A proven track record of implementing comprehensive test suites in diverse technical environments and cross-platform technologies
Experience mentoring and coaching QA professionals
Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective test plans for complex applications
Expert ability to develop test scripts for both manual and automated testing
Experience working in a dynamic environment and proven ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
Ability to communicate in both technical and business terms across all levels of the organization
Adept at assessing situations to find creative solutions and supporting resolutions
Demonstrated test automation engineer experience
Fluent English skills – verbal and written.
Preference will be given to candidates who:
Have experience with test automation tools Selenium, Katalon Studio, TestNG, UFT/QTP, SOAPUI, etc.
Are familiar with Smartsheet, JIRA and other similar SDLC tools
