Title: JAVA/Integration Lead
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Working hours: 35hrs/week
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
As a Lead, the ideal candidate MUST possess staff management soft skills, as well as at least 8 years of java development experience with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Integration Development.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Technical Management including managing cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects.
Outstanding leadership skills with ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.
Experience in Service Oriented Architecture and Web Service development.
Strong knowledge of data integration technologies and processes.
Strong knowledge of XML, XML Schema, XSD and XSLT/Path.
Working knowledge of ETL, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts.
Knowledge of National Information Exchange Methodology (NIEM
Extensive experience with Spring and Hibernate.
Strong experience in MVC and using other design patterns.
Experience with Oracle WebLogic 10.x+ or similar application server.
Experience with Ant.
Experience with relational database such as Oracle, MS SQL Server or MySQL.
Experience with testing tools and techniques such as JUnit and continuous integration.
Knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript and CSS.
Knowledge of secure coding standards and best practices.
Must take initiative, be a decisive decision-maker and show confidence in decisions made.
Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance.
Must have experience with Git, Subversion or CVS.
Experience with formal SDLCs and development methodologies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders;
Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources;
Solid Experience with relational databases preferably Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server;
Solid experience in XML Technologies (XML, XSL, XSD);
Solid knowledge of testing tools and techniques;
Must be able to provide documentation on their work.
