Description:
Looking for a Senior J2EE Lead Developer with strong experience in analyzing, designing, developing, integrating, testing, implementing, and documenting new and existing application software programs involving JAVA/J2EE/Spring technologies
Responsibilities:
The candidate should be hands on developer with strong technical background
Gather and analyze requirements, design and develop software application
Comprehend high level business requirements, translate those requirements into technical requirements and specifications, and then assign and facilitate the delivery and development of those components in a development build cycle
Lead small and mid-size project teams to perform a variety of day to day development activities
Conduct code reviews of completed technical artifacts
Represent and lead the development team''s interaction and plans during support of testing activities
Must have good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Participate in unit, integration, and system test procedures
Document final program and develop user instructions, software/hardware requirements, program input / outputs and execution / installation steps
Provide ongoing system support by maintaining and enhancing existing software applications
Handle multiple tasks and work on multiple projects
Candidate must ensure that tasks are being completed in timely manner with limited direction
Defines and promotes development standards and mentors resources with less experience
Interact with technology management and other teams
Requirements:
BS or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
10+ years of hands on experience working with JAVA/J2EE technologies
Highly skilled with server side frameworks like Spring MVC, Hibernate
In-depth knowledge of publishing as well consuming of Web Services, REST Services
Expertise with database programming, transaction management
Expertise with build tools – ANT, MAVEN, Gradle
Good understanding of Unit test tools
Experience with rules engine - Drools
Good analytical skills to break down requirements, solve complex problems.
Good understanding of Source control toolsets
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Proven track record to meet aggressive timelines
Any experience with BPM tools - Pega, Activti or Appaian is a plus
Any experience with Mule Service is a plus
